Responsibility and contact

BOKAEI is operated by Erfan Bokaei in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Erfan Bokaei, founder and Privacy Officer, is the contact for personal-information questions, access requests and complaints: bokaeiclothing@gmail.com. This policy covers the website and inquiries received through it.

Relevant law includes Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as modernized by Law 25, and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where applicable, including qualifying cross-border commercial activities.

Information collected and why

The consultation form requires your name and email so we can respond. Phone, hat measurements, style, preferred colour, budget, preferred contact method and your message are optional. The chosen site language and source page accompany the request. We use this information to discuss your project, arrange appointments and provide the service you request.

Please do not include payment-card details, identity documents, health information or other sensitive information in the message. Browsing the gallery does not require an account. The site has no online checkout.

Hosting and delivery providers may process technical data such as IP addresses, request times, browser details and security or delivery logs to operate and protect the service. The appointment handler does not intentionally log the contents of your message or save it in a BOKAEI website database.

Your choices and consent

Submitting an inquiry authorizes the handling described beside the form and in this policy for that inquiry; it does not subscribe you to marketing. Optional fields can be left blank. You may instead email us, although email providers also process the information you send. Without sufficient contact details, we may be unable to respond.

You may ask to withdraw consent for optional or future uses, subject to lawful retention requirements and any service consequences we explain. We will seek separate consent for a materially different purpose when required. Merely browsing is not blanket consent to unrelated uses.

Who receives information and processing outside Québec

The form sends the submitted information to BOKAEI’s server, which passes it to Web3Forms for processing and delivery to the brand’s Gmail inbox. Web3Forms, Google/Gmail and the hosting infrastructure supplied through Sites and Cloudflare may process relevant data to deliver their services. Access within BOKAEI is limited to Erfan Bokaei and any authorized person who needs it to handle your request.

Information may be processed or stored outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States, and may be accessible under the laws of those jurisdictions. Web3Forms uses its own infrastructure and sub-processors. Its privacy policy describes provider-side processing and retention; contact us with questions before submitting.

BOKAEI does not sell your information or use your inquiry for advertising profiles. Disclosures may also occur when legally required or permitted to protect rights or address a security incident.

Language preference, cookies and external links

The site stores the key ‘bokaei-language’ in your browser’s local storage to remember English, French or Persian. It remains until you clear the site’s browser data or change the preference. Blocking this storage may prevent the language choice from being remembered.

The current site code does not install advertising pixels or audience-measurement analytics. Infrastructure providers may use technical security mechanisms. Videos are served as site files, and Instagram links open an external service rather than an embedded feed on the current pages. External services follow their own privacy policies. New optional tracking would require appropriate notice and consent before activation where required.

Retention and protection

We keep inquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to respond, follow up, perform an agreed service and meet applicable legal, accounting or dispute-related obligations. At the end of those purposes, information must be securely deleted or lawfully anonymized. The relevant criteria include whether a project remains active, a transaction occurred, or a legal retention duty applies; contact us for the period applicable to your record.

Copies may remain in service-provider systems under their own retention and backup arrangements. Web3Forms’ published policy states that submission data may be retained for up to three years, subject to a shorter plan period or earlier deletion. This is distinct from information in our inbox.

The site uses HTTPS, server-side validation and basic anti-spam checks. No internet or email service is risk-free. If a privacy incident occurs, we will assess and address it and make notifications required by applicable law.

Access, correction and other rights

Email the Privacy Officer to request access to or correction of your information, withdraw consent, or ask about deletion. Where Québec law provides it, you may request computerized information collected from you in a structured, commonly used technological format. Rights to cessation of dissemination or de-indexing may also apply in the circumstances set by law.

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity without requesting unnecessary information. Access and correction requests are handled within the applicable legal time limit, generally 30 days under Québec private-sector law. If a request cannot be granted, we will explain the applicable reason and recourse. Deletion is subject to lawful exceptions.

Children, complaints and updates

The site is intended for adult clients. Children under 14 should not submit personal information independently; a parent or legal guardian should contact us. Please tell us if information was submitted without the necessary authority so we can address it.
